Cultivation and Management Techniques of Early Spring Celery in Greenhouse
1. Seedling cultivation: For the cultivation of spring celery in the greenhouse, seedlings should be cultivated in an appropriate period according to the planned transplanting time. The nursery period is generally about 7 days. In the seedling stage, watering is generally not required, and no top dressing is required. Only when it is found that it is really dry, watering cans can be used to make the seedlings grow slowly and avoid excessive growth.
2. Planting: firstly prepare the ground for base fertilizer, level the ground to make a 1-meter-wide border, spread a layer of farmyard manure evenly on the border surface, 10 kg per square meter, turn it over again, and flatten the border surface to prepare for planting . Next is planting seedlings, planting 6 to 7 rows per border, with a hole spacing of 8 to 10 cm, and irrigate after planting.
3. Management: Generally, it is not necessary to water the seedlings, and loosen the soil when the heart leaves begin to emerge. Keep the temperature at 15-20°C during the day and 10°C at night. When the plant has 5-6 large leaves, chase 20-30 grams of urea per square meter, and pour large water while chasing. After top dressing, the border noodles should be kept moist. During this period, the temperature can be increased to about 20~25°C. After pouring large water several times and the celery leaf stalks are rapidly elongated, the celery can be harvested for the market.
