Flower pesticides soaked with stress

When seed and flower seedlings are propagated in the seed, in order to reduce the probability of seed-borne pathogens and reduce the incidence of seedlings or seedlings in the field, many flower growers now employ the technique of seed soaking and disinfection prior to sowing and have achieved better disease-preventing effects. The use of pesticide soaking should pay attention to the following aspects. First, pay attention to the selection of pesticide formulations. The agent used for soaking seed is a dilution of the agent. The required agent must be soluble in water, and must not be soaked in powdered pesticides that are insoluble or difficult to dissolve in water. Because powdery pesticides that are insoluble in water or difficult to dissolve in water are often floating on the water surface or sinking, causing the seeds to become inconsistently coated with drugs, it is easy for the seeds to become poisoned due to excessive contamination, and the disinfection effect of seeds that are not stained with chemicals is poor. Therefore, it is best to use liquid formulations, emulsifiable concentrates, or wettable powder formulations. Second, accurate preparation of liquid medicine. The concentration of the agent used for soaking is not calculated based on the weight of the seed, but is calculated on the basis of the active ingredient content of the agent. Therefore, the soaking agent concentration should be controlled within the maximum allowable amount, and the minimum amount. The greater the concentration of the agent in this range, the shorter the soaking time, and vice versa. Therefore, the concentration of the seed soaking agent should be based on different species, and the best concentration and soaking time required for soaking should be mastered. It is not possible to soak seeds with high concentration for a long time or soak seeds with low concentration for a short time, otherwise it will cause phytotoxicity or soaking. Disinfection and sterilization are not effective. Third, master the soaking time. There is a certain time requirement for the soaking of pesticides, and if it takes a long time, it will produce phytotoxicity; if it is too short, it will not achieve the purpose of disinfection. The specific soaking time should be determined according to the characteristics of the varieties, the instructions for use of the reagents, and the temperature at the time of soaking. The high temperature and high concentration can shorten the soaking time. On the contrary, it can relatively extend the soaking time. In general, seeds with thin seed coats and seeds with smaller seeds can be soaked for a shorter time; seeds with larger seed coats and seed coats with thicker or more seed coats can be soaked for longer time. Fourth, soaked seeds should be cleaned and dried. For seeds with soft texture and poor drug resistance, when they meet the soaking time requirements, rinse with clean water in time to prevent phytotoxicity. In addition to direct sowing after individual soaking, the sowing may be based on soil moisture conditions. Fifth, fully stir. After the seed is put into the liquid medicine, it is necessary to pay attention to fully stirring to discharge the air bubbles in the liquid medicine so that the seed and the liquid medicine can fully contact and improve the soaking effect. Sixth, the liquid surface is higher than the seeds. When soaking, the liquid must be 1.5 to 2 cm above the seed. This is because the seed exposed to water swelling exposing the liquid, not only reduce the seed soaking effect, but also affect the germination rate and uniformity, therefore, generally in the soaking time the liquid level is higher than the seed, to ensure the soaking sterilization effect.
