2. Generally, do not water during the period of slow seedling. If the water is insufficient during planting, water can be poured once according to the soil conditions. Control the watering after the seedlings are planted until the root melon sits. When the root melon sits, pour water once, and apply 10 to 15 kg of urea or compound fertilizer every 667 square meters with the water. After entering the fruiting season, water it in time according to the weather conditions and soil conditions. Generally, water it every 7 to 10 days, and apply urea or compound fertilizer 10-15kg with water. Watering should be carried out in sunny morning as much as possible. After watering, pay attention to ventilation and dehumidification. If possible, use drip irrigation and subsurface irrigation.
3. Plant adjustment and protection of flowers and fruits. Due to the use of dwarf, early-maturing varieties in spring planting cultivation, hanging and bundling are generally not required during the growth process, and old, diseased and yellow leaves should be removed in time during the growth process. Due to the low temperature in the spring and the obstruction of facilities, there are few pollinating insects, and the parthenocarpy ability of zucchini is very poor. As a result, in the spring, facility cultivation often causes flowering or melons due to poor pollination.
