Means to Raise the Meat Yield of Meat Rabbits
Production of meat rabbits usually uses weaned (about 30 days old) pups, and after short-term fattening (that is, young rabbits fattening), the body weight increases from about 0.5 kg to 2.5 kg slaughtered for the purpose of producing more rabbit meat. In addition to seeing the final output, commercial rabbits must also consider production costs and pay attention to economic benefits. For the production of meat rabbits, this feature, in feeding and management
The overall goal is to reduce diarrhea, increase daily weight gain, and reduce feed costs. Focusing on the above objectives, we should focus on the following technologies:
1. Guarantee nutrition. For specialized farms and households in rural areas, it is advisable to use fine material supplements (granular material) and green feed for fattening. The recommended nutrient levels for concentrate supplements are: digestive energy 12 MJ/kg, crude protein 18%, crude fat 3-4%, crude fiber 11-12%, calcium 0.7-1.0%, phosphorus 0.4-0.6% Lai and egg amino acids were 0.8% and 0.6% respectively. 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 kg live weight can be gradually increased by the daily feed amount of granular materials, and 100-400 grams of high-quality green feed can be fed daily. For large-scale farms, full-priced pellet feeds should be used to digest the energy. It can be down-regulated to 10-12 MJ/kg, crude protein 16-17%, and crude fiber 12-14%. The average daily feed per bird is 60-150 g. Request to gradually increase the amount of feed from small to large, adhere to regular quantitative or consistent implementation of the free way to eat, and fully guarantee drinking water.
2. Proficient in management. First, fattening rabbits generally practice group rearing. It can be raised in separate cages or columns, raising 8-10 eggs per square meter. However, it is better to feed them in groups depending on the size of the body in order to prevent “small bullying†and improve the quality of commercial rabbits. In dry areas, about one month before slaughter, ground “catch†can also be implemented, which is beneficial to the turnover and utilization of cages. Second, when the room temperature is less than 10 degrees Celsius, bedding should be used to properly close doors and windows and other insulation measures; commodity rabbits should not exceed 12 hours of sunshine. Third, the settings of the feeding trough, drinking fountain and straw trough should ensure that the same cage (column) rabbit can both feed and drink at the same time, and prevent rabbits from trampling feed, causing pollution of water and foodstuffs.
3. Timely elimination of sick rabbits. In order to reduce the amount of feed and artificial waste caused by fattening or slow growing in the middle of fattening, and increase the cost of raising, we should firmly eliminate particularly weak puppies when we start fattening. Rabbits not only have the danger of transmitting diseases, but also increase their expenses. Therefore, when a sick rabbit is discovered, it is best to be eliminated immediately; strict prevention of the fulminant epidemic of rabbit lice and digestive tract diseases.
Hot-dip galvanization is a form of galvanization. It is the process of coating iron and steel with zinc, which alloys with the surface of the base metal when immersing the metal in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 840 °F (449 °C). When exposed to the atmosphere, the pure zinc (Zn) reacts with oxygen (O2) to form zinc oxide (ZnO), which further reacts with carbon dioxide (CO2) to form zinc carbonate (ZnCO3), a usually dull grey, fairly strong material that protects the steel underneath from further corrosion in many circumstances. Galvanized steel is widely used in applications where corrosion resistance is needed without the cost of stainless steel, and is considered superior in terms of cost and life-cycle.
