Back wall: The back wall of the greenhouse is on the sunny side, and there is little light. After the rain and snow melt, it will easily penetrate into the back wall to reduce the temperature of the shed. The vegetable grower can cover the back wall with old plastic film or non-woven fabric to prevent snow and water. Wall insulation effect.
Front face: Old straw curtains or non-woven fabrics can be hung on the outside of the front face for heat preservation. Due to the limited height of the grass curtain, the height and width of the non-woven fabric can be adjusted flexibly. Relatively speaking, the heat preservation effect is better.
Entrance of the shed: Due to different construction habits, the location of the entrance of the greenhouse is different. Some are set on the front face, some are set behind the gable wall, and some are set on the back wall. If the shed opening is at the front face, a straw or thermal insulation quilt can be added outside the door to reduce heat dissipation; if the shed is behind the gable wall, thermal insulation quilt curtains can be installed on both sides of the passage; On the back wall, a shed was built to avoid cold wind blowing into the shed.

Straw bioreactor: It is a good choice to use straw bioreactor to increase temperature in winter. It is understood that using straw bioreactor 20 cm in the shed in winter or early spring can increase the ground temperature by 4-6℃ and the temperature by 2-3℃.
Generally, vegetable farmers use straw bioreactors in two ways. One is to crush the straw and bury it under the planting row. This method accelerates the maturity of the straw; the other is to directly bury the straw under the planting row without breaking it. The maturation speed of straw is relatively slow, and because the straw is not crushed, the pores are relatively large, which may cause part of the root system to not penetrate deeply and be suspended near the surface. In short, these two methods have their own advantages, and vegetable farmers can choose according to their actual situation.
Protect the "two ports": installing a windshield at the air outlet and entrance of the shed can be a beneficial measure to avoid the reduction of shed temperature to a large extent. Protecting these two "mouths", in addition to heat preservation, can also prevent vegetables from being blown directly by cold wind and reduce the occurrence of fruit peeling.
