Qinghai strengthens inspection of essential drug quality and strengthens quality supervision

In order to strengthen the supervision of essential drug quality and ensure the quality and safety of essential drugs, our province has stepped up the inspection and inspection of essential drug quality this year. The Provincial Food and Drug Administration will further improve various guarantee measures, integrate supervision and inspection with sampling, and implement supervision and inspection of production, distribution and use links. At the same time, the management of random inspections will be further strengthened to ensure the full completion of the supervision and inspection of the full coverage of essential drugs of this year.

It is understood that on the basis of the 307 basic medicines promulgated by the state, 100 essential medicines have been added to our province, which has enabled the province to implement 407 essential medicines. This year, the State Food and Drug Administration organized nationwide arrangements for the evaluation and quality analysis of 159 essential drugs. The Provincial Food and Drug Administration will organize a full coverage inspection of the production, operation, and use of the remaining 148 kinds of basic pharmaceutical products and 100 kinds of basic pharmaceutical products supplemented by the province. Highlight the full coverage of the basic pharmaceutical manufacturers in the jurisdiction and the sampling inspection of the basic pharmaceutical winning bidder, distribution companies, and primary medical institutions. At the same time, the result of random inspection will be released to the society in a timely manner, and products that do not meet the standards will be investigated and dealt with according to law.
