I. Overview

This instrument introduces new fat measurement technology and is developed in combination with China's national conditions. The design is reasonable, the performance is stable, the precision is high, the operation is time-saving, labor-saving, and the measurement result conforms to the national (GB5512-85) standard. The instrument is based on the Soxhlet extraction principle and the root weight measurement method to determine the fat content. That is, the fat is dissolved in an organic solvent, and the fat is separated from the solvent by extraction, and then dried, weighed, and the fat content is calculated. The instrument is mainly composed of three parts: heating extraction, solvent recovery and cooling. During operation, the heating temperature can be adjusted according to the boiling point of the reagent and the ambient temperature. The sample is repeatedly soaked and rinsed during the extraction process to achieve rapid measurement.

Second, the experimental principle

SZF-06A crude fat analyzer is mainly extracted by electric hot water bath, solvent condensation recovery, digital display automatic temperature control, control time, in the process of operation, depending on the boiling point of the solvent, the indoor temperature is high and low, with digital display temperature control The table is adjusted in real time. During operation, the condenser can be manually moved up and down separately. The connection between the condenser, the extractor and the extraction bottle is connected by a glass grinding port. Therefore, the instrument has good sealing performance, and no harmful substances are leaked during the whole operation.
After the sample is extracted with a solvent such as anhydrous diethyl ether or petroleum ether, the solvent is distilled off to obtain a substance which is called fat or crude fat in food analysis. Because it contains pigments, volatile oils, waxes, resins, etc. in addition to fat, the fat measured by the extraction method is free fat.
The instrument can be used to make six samples at a time.

3. Preparation before operation
3.1 sample processing
3.1.1 Solid sample: Grain sample: Grain or dried product is passed through a 40 mesh sieve with a pulverizer; the meat is twisted twice with a meat grinder; after being crushed by a general tissue masher, it is weighed 2.00 g to 5.00 g (required) The sample after measuring the moisture), if necessary, mixed with sea sand and all moved into the filter paper tube.
3.1.2 Liquid or semi-solid sample: Weigh 2.00g~5.00g, put it in the evaporating dish, add about 20g sea sand to the steam bath and evaporate it at 100°C±5°C, grind it, and move it all in. In the filter paper tube, the evaporating dish and the glass rod with the sample are cleaned with absorbent cotton dampened with ether, and the cotton is placed in the filter paper tube.
3.1.3 Preparation of spare samples
a. Grain cereals and beans (except peanuts) are taken from a net sample of 30-50 g of impurities, and ground through a 1.0 mm diameter circular sieve into a jar.
b. Small pieces of oil such as sesame, rapeseed, and flaxseed are taken out and 20g of the net sample of impurities is taken out and placed in a jar for use.
c. Large oils such as peanuts, sunflower seeds and tea seeds are taken 30-50g. After impurities, the shells are peeled off by grain. The kernels and shells are weighed separately, and the percentage of total kernels is calculated. The kernel is then cut or sliced ​​and placed in a jar for later use.
3.2. Extract the bottle with distilled water and bake in a dry box at 105 °C for 1 hour.
3.3. Turn on the cooling water inlet and outlet pipe and pay attention to the control of water flow. Turn off the sink water switch.
3.4. Check the power supply.
4. Operation steps
4.1. Fill the water bath with distilled water: Raise the condenser, take the extractor and the extraction bottle together from the water bath, and inject distilled water from the orifice. The water should be filled as much as possible to ensure that the bottom of the extraction bottle is completely in the water and will not overflow.
4.2. Sample dressing: From the spare sample, weigh 2-5 g of the sample in an oven, bake at 105 °C for 30 minutes, pour it into the mortar while hot, and add about 2 g of defatted fine sand. After the sample and the fine sand were ground to an oily state, the sample and the fat on the mortar were wiped with a small amount of ether in a cotton wool, and wrapped in a filter paper and placed in an extractor.
4.3. Inject about 50ml of anhydrous ether into the extraction bottle, then place the extractor in the extraction bottle, lift the condensation tube, transfer the extraction bottle to the hole in the water bath, and finally put down the condensation tube to extract it. The mouth of the bottle remains sealed.
4.4. Turn on the power switch and the instrument will heat directly to the set temperature. (Generally set 60 degrees, the internal setting of the instrument has been completed, no need to reset. If the temperature needs to be changed in special cases, the specific setting method refers to the operation instructions of the front panel panel.)
4.5. Start counting after the solvent has evaporated, about 3 hours, then completely close the condensing tube adjustment cock (ie, the position of the cock is parallel to the horizontal plane. When starting the operation, adjust the cock to open), perform solvent collection and recovery time. Usually about 1 hour.
The working time of this step is applicable to powder samples with a 40% oil content.
4.6. After the end of the recovery, first loosen the extraction bottle and the condensate tube, lift the condensing tube, take the extraction bottle and the extraction bottle together from the water bath, and then place the extraction bottle into the incubator. The water is removed and finally transferred to a drying cylinder for cooling and weighed to calculate the oil content.
4.7. Turn off the power after use and keep the inside of the machine clean.

1. Because ether is a highly volatile reagent, it must be done in a fume hood.
2. The condensing tube cock has different thermal expansion and expansion. If it is found to be tight when rotating, loosen the white fixing nut to prevent the condensing tube from being damaged by excessive force.
3. Three sets of water sources must be used to separate the cooling in and out to reduce the evaporation of ether.
4. According to the room temperature, the set temperature of extraction heating can be adjusted appropriately.
5. When heating, it is necessary to inject distilled water to prevent the electric heating tube from being damaged. Please pay attention to the water level when extracting. When filling the low water level, inject distilled water in time to prevent the electric heating tube from being damaged.
6. If the display does not display after power on, first check the fuse inside the power supply base and the power switch next to it. (Sometimes the fuse will be burnt out due to unstable power supply voltage.) The power switch or fuse can be replaced by itself if it is burnt out.
7. Pay attention to controlling the water pressure of the cooling water. When the water pressure is too large, the inside of the instrument will fall off. When there is a leak inside the instrument, first turn off the power switch and the cooling water inlet and outlet. Then open the back cover in the direction of the back cover button. Check the leak location. If the tube is detached, it can be inserted by itself. If it is caused by glass or other reasons, please inform the manufacturer in time.
8. Under the conditions of the user's transportation, storage, installation and use procedures, if the instrument fails to work properly due to manufacturing problems, it will be found that the package is defective and damaged within one year from the date of receipt of the goods, or when unpacking.
