The world's first intelligent mobile interventional medical "robot" landed in China
GE Healthcare has developed an IGS intelligent mobile intervention “robot†that can help doctors make quick decisions, respond more effectively to the challenges of major diseases such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, cancer, and lead interventional surgery into the new era of mobile intelligence. On March 16, GE Healthcare released this product in Beijing.
According to reports, this is the world's first large-scale medical imaging equipment that can move freely. Compared with all fixed large medical equipment with a weight of more than 1 ton, IGS intelligent mobile intervention "robot" uses laser guidance, intelligent obstacle avoidance track and IGS dynamic balance technology subverts the traditional way of landing without landing, and realizes the function of being able to move freely according to the preset orbit and actively avoid obstacles. It also has the "wisdom" of human beings, which can detect the deep organs of the human body, form dynamic and accurate images of the eye, and provide intelligent navigation for cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, and tumor interventional surgery. The whole process of disease surgery intelligent guidance, optimize the surgical procedure, shorten the operation time, reduce the contrast dose and more than 80% of the radiation dose, to achieve comprehensive patient safety.
It is said that IGS intelligent mobile intervention "robot" is GE's investment of 600 million US dollars, combined with more than 100 top scientists in the world, thousands of engineers have developed over the years.
