Sugarcane Summer Field Management Technology
Sugarcane's summer extension is the golden season when sugarcane grows up. Therefore, grasping field management is the key to winning the harvest.
First, re-apply attack stem fertilizer. The elongation of sugarcane is the time for large roots, large leaves, and long stems to be the most nutrient-intensive. The amount of fertilizer absorbed accounts for more than 50% of the total amount of fertilizers. Therefore, it is necessary to re-attack the stem fertilizer, and the main application of nitrogen fertilizer to promote cane stem growth and thickening, prevent premature aging, increase production and sugar. Application of urea 10-13 kilograms per acre, compost manure 2500-3000 kilograms, cake fertilizer 25 kilograms, such as base fertilizer and early phosphorus, potash deficiency, can be combined with phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. If the sugarcane plant grows vigorously and the leaf color is dark green, it can be applied less; Poor growth, premature yellowing or premature senescence, should be applied early.
Second, Gao Pei soil is put down. During the elongation of sugarcane, high earth should be used in combination with fertilization. Soil cultivation can not only preserve fertilizer and improve fertilizer efficiency, but also promote the development of sugarcane root system and prevent lodging. The specific approach is: through a number of thin soil, to achieve high soil, each soil cover only the first section of the cane, so that the roots of the cane head rooting, conducive to the growth of sugar cane. In high soils, we must also pay attention to border management, such as adding fertilizers and soils to the borders to prevent humans and animals from trampling in order to overcome the phenomenon of eliminating borders.
Third, the old leaves to prevent pests. Sugarcane field permeability is one of the important conditions for sugarcane growth. Sugarcane enters the late growth stage and grows a new leaf every 7-10 days. Therefore, it is necessary to peel off the leaves of the foot and the yellow old leaves to enhance the ventilation and light transmission in the sugarcane field, promote photosynthesis, strengthen the stems, increase lodging resistance, increase sugar content, and also help control pests and diseases, reduce damage, and increase the yield of sugar cane. Sugar cane can feed cattle or fuel.
Fourth, irrigation drought and strong stems. From August to September, sugarcane entered the jointing fierce long-term. Under the condition of good water and fertilizer, it can grow 3–3.5 centimeters per day, and it can grow 80–90 centimeters per month. Therefore, we must pay attention to irrigation. In particular, when drought occurs, water should be promptly irrigated, and soil moisture content should be maintained at 60%-80%. In addition, the old leaf or mulch can be used to cover the cane pods, and the cash crops can also be interplanted to increase the mulch cover and reduce the evaporation of soil moisture. Conditional irrigation should be used to avoid drought and reduce production. Where there is water, we must fill the water without losing our time to ensure a good harvest of sugarcane.
Fifth, prevention and pest prevention. August-September is both a long season of sugarcane jointing and a period of various pests and diseases. For example, in July, the beak, two beaks, beetles, filarials, etc., from August to September, especially the roots of the filarial food cane, will cause the cane to wither and fall down, which is very harmful. Control measures: According to the pest situation, timely application of pesticides.
